I lost a great friend!
To my friend Marek William Bajson.
love is dedication, unselfish giving, understanding and acceptance, that's what Marek gave to Grazyna and I.
Our greatest friend from the very start, our greatest supporter and motivator. Is not easy too loose such a friend, specially in such a rude way. Go in peace my friend, I will never forget you! from down here, in this dangerous world, I know that you are now in the high place were all of us want to be and hopefully will one day meet again.
Heartbroken but thankful to God for the gift of you in our lives, may God bless you forever.

After receiving orders from the Portuguese parliament limiting his powers in Brazil, Dom Pedro I declared Brazil’s independence near the Ipiranga River in São Paulo.
Tearing the Portuguese blue and white insignia from his uniform, Pedro drew his sword, and swore: "By my blood, by my honor, and by God: I will make Brazil free." Their motto, he said, would be Independência ou Morte, Independence or Death! This statement is known as the Grito do Ipiranga.
